Oem idler pulleys are known to be tired after over a decade of the cars life and are prone to breaking. Especially the 2 that come plastic from factory. Premature failure may result in breaking other parts inside the engine bay besides the pulleys themselves. Our kit replaces all 5 idlers with billet pulleys with fresh bearing that will amount to great preventative maintenance.
