M157 Blow-Off Valve Kit
The factory M157 turbo system does not use a true blow-off valve, instead recirculating excess boost back into the turbos when lifting off the throttle. This can slow turbo response and increase long-term turbo wear, especially on tuned vehicles.
The DTK M157 Blow-Off Valve Kit uses a vacuum-operated mechanical BOV to vent excess boost safely into the atmosphere, protecting the turbochargers and improving throttle response between shifts.
In addition to the performance benefit, the system delivers a crisp, proper turbo sound under lift-off.
